Even in the best circumstances, divorce is stressful and life-altering—in high-conflict situations, it can feel like a tsunami. The separation and divorce process can be deeply traumatic, particularly when concerns include children's safety, post-separation abuse, domestic violence, coercive control, substance abuse, or cluster B personality disorders. Keeping emotions regulated and prioritizing self-care are essential when negotiating with an ex-partner and addressing co-parenting challenges.
Alexa is a trained Mediator with specialization in Marital Mediation and Parenting Coordination. She works with couples before, during, and after separation to develop co-parenting relationships that fit their unique circumstances and children.
Alexa facilitates twice yearly divorce support groups for both men and women (separately) and supports individuals navigating the grief of divorce while managing the trauma of high-conflict negotiations. She provides an experienced and safe space to process trauma, understand relationship patterns, and clarify priorities throughout this challenging process—while building a foundation for resilience, healing, and growth.
